Try to distribute wear by rotating cushions and pillows on a weekly basis. Vacuum your upholstery weekly or more often if needed. Do not leave newspapers on your furniture. The ink may bleed and stain the fabric. Attend to spills as soon as possible by blotting, not rubbing the spill with a clean, absorbent white cloth. Then have it professionally cleaned. Attempting to remove the spot on your own may leave a ring or damage the colour.
